Community Health Center

Situated in Southeastern South Dakota, Springfield Community Health Center accommodates patients in need of medical care not only in Springfield but also in Tyndall, Yankton, Vermillion, Niobrara and Crofton. It is the only community health center in the area offering financial assistance through the Sliding Fee Program. Led by James Kerr, MD and Kathy Miller, DO, the clinic specializes in family medicine and also serves patients through pediatric , X-ray and lab services. Additionally, the clinic offers referral and Telemedicine services including Oncology/Hematology, Nephrology, Dermatology, Pulmonary, Infectious Disease, Wound/Ostomy/Continence, Behavioral Health, Endocrinology and Cardiology.
